Two Stellar Music Panels
at TECTracks, NAMM 2017
Anaheim
convention center, 2nd Floor
Saturday,
Jan 21, 2-4pm (Prior to Tec Awards)
It's 2017. Meet
award-winning artists who are here to share their secrets to making
magic in the studio. Great content can fit many applications in
gaming, VR and for mobile devices. We will explore those opportunities
with special guest: Rory Kaplan of Auro.
What makes the
sound you hear on your playlist jump out and grab you? Literally
grab and hold you... It's the magic in the mix!
Hear it first
hand from the mixers behind beloved artists of our time: Bruno Mars,
Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Adele, Limp Bizkit, Lady Gaga, DAngelo,
Stevie Wonder, Placido Domingo, D'Angello, Elvis Costello &
The Roots, Clare Fischer, Michael Jackson, Tool, System of a Down,
Johnny Cash, Toto, Steve Lukather, Spinal Tap, Def Leppard
No matter what
your game -- Rock, Jazz, R&B, Pop, Country, EDM...only one ingredient
amps the volume. It's Magic and we're here to share it with you!

A
panel of top mixers will discuss the issues around adding another
dimension to the sonic experiences they are now creating. How are
mixing techniques different in 3-D? How do you train your ears to
lead you to the result you are going for? Inventory of a Mix, yes,
even the politics!
We will discuss mixing for film, VR, mobile and review practical
applications and how to plug in those opportunities. Lots of fun
things will be discussed!
