History: Guy
DeFazio began his career as a staff engineer at the former Lion
Share Studios. Equally comfortable scoring sixty-piece orchestras
or crafting a-list pop albums, his credits include numerous gold,
platinum, and Grammy-winning projects. As a record engineer/mixer,
he has enjoyed working with such legendary artists and producers
as Arif Mardin, Trevor Horn, Earth Wind & Fire, Don Henley,
Smokey Robinson, John Boylan, Rod Temperton, David Foster, The Fugees,
and many others.
As
a music scoring mixer for film and television, his clients have
included Universal, MGM, Paramount, Disney, Twentieth Century Fox,
HBO, Sony, and Viacom.

DeFazio is Trustee and President of The Center for Jazz Arts CJA
is the first public benefit organization of its kind dedicated to
the advancement of American jazz culture throughout numerous fields
of the visual, literary, and classical arts, around the world.
