Jason Nevins
Re-mixer l producer

History: A native New Yorker, Nevins began Dj-ing while working at one of the top radio stations while in college at Arizona State University.  On returning back East, he began creating his first batch of mixes.  After producing a handful of his own tracks he set his site for the remix arena. Jason rocketed to international fame with his mix of the Run-DMC classic “It’s like that,” which topped pop charts across world, selling over 5 million copies.  Some of Jason’s subsequent work also reflected his love for 80’s hits, with reworkings of Kool and the Gang’s “Celebration” and Rob Base’s “It takes Two” as well as alco’s “Der Komissar” and Toni Basil’s “Mickey.”  He has a masterful ear for making pop/club crossover records, but also excels in underground mixes and is now expanding more into production. DJ/producer/re-mixer Jason Nevins credits include: Cypress Hill, Hole, Jay-Z, Puff Daddy & Lill Kim, Apollo 440, Maxwell, Savage Garden, Missy Elliot, House of Pain, S Club 7. Jason has been adding his magic touch to a host of International mega-stars to include: Ricky Martin "Maria', Robbie Williams "Rock DJ", Prince, Britney Spears "Lucky", Backstreet Boys, Janet Jackson and will Smith. He mixed a classic Run DMC &Aerosmith vs Jason Nevins "Walk This Way" plus Eros Rammazzotti's new single.

Current Credits: Its been a while since the Run-DMC record came out but for the past 3 1/2 years, I’ve doing a lot of rock/dance and rock/hip hop fusions such as the remix I did of "Rock Star" by N.E.R.D ,my mix of Elvis’ "Rubberneckin", the massive International remix of “Work It” by Nelly featuring Justin Timberlake. I just did a new track for my album called “Git Money” which features the The Young Gunz and legendary rocker Billy Squier.” Jason says. Since working on the fusion rock sound for about 3 ½ years now and it is doing really well for me.” Because of incorporating rock elements into dance and hip hop- Im getting calls for artists like Duran Duran, Anastacia and Kelly Clarkson who want me to use my unique mixture of different styles into their songs.” I worked with Duran Duran on "(Reach Up For The) Sunrise" for their new album on Sony and it did extremely well al over the World- I remixed 2 other songs from that album and they were kind enough to work with me on “Alive", a new track for my album.”
